When I was in Ghana a few weeks ago, my gal pal Adama mentioned to me that Sierra Leone was experiencing an huge increase in tourism. Most of the tourist visiting Sierra Leone are from Europe and other parts of Africa. After years of civil war, Freetown (the capital of Sierra Leone) is emerging as the place to go on holiday in West Africa.

These past few weeks I’ve come across some amazing airfares for the Spring. From Miami to Madrid, airlines have been offering deep discounts for Spring travel. If you are planning to take a trip, April and May are the months to take advantage of these deals. I would suggest the long weekend to Rome as a good option.
