Kira is being positioned 2 be the next best thing since sliced bread. At only 15 ( I think her celeb age) she is the chief designer of her own fashion line in Russia. Plans are in the works for her 2 open stores in NYC later this year in Soho.

I’ve always been fascinated with leaders who like 2 go left of the norm (i.e. Takafumi Horie). There is a lot of protocol in Japan that I think can be stifling 2 the growth of a company. Tadashi Yanai represents a new guard of leadership for young entrepreneurs to look up 2. He has made UNIQLO one of the hottest retail companies in the world. 😉 Thru focus & an ambitious expansion strategy UNIQLO is posed 2 give GAP a run 4 their money.
I’ve actually copped a few pieces from UNIQLO & its not that bad. They have clothes within various prices ranges. Definitely a Japanese flare 2 the shopping experience. Shout out 2 Kassan 4 this 1. -!YG

I know this might seem like a strange choice, but all the more interesting. The 2008 forecast for Starbucks is not looking 2 pretty. Howard was pretty much chillin’ collecting a paycheck, but he decided 2 get back in the trenches. That is the mark of a true entrepreneur! Howard is back in the saddle 2 steer Starbucks back in the right direction. Once they started selling breakfast sandwiches it was pretty clear there was a lost of strategic focus. Although I’m not a fan of Starbucks, I can respect Howard’s commitment 2 ensuring that his vision 4 Starbucks is “Built 2 Last”. Starbucks is really going 2 be challenged over the next few quarters. Is 5 dollar coffee recession proof? I’m curious 2 see how loyal their customers will be 2 this brand. Howard Schultz has 2 re-focus the company. Is it 2 late? -!YG
