Sippin on Pinot Noir with YG

As we continue 2 move thru the Spring into the Summer that means U will be attending a lot of more get togethers… Pinot Noir is a great wine 2 bring 2 an “evening set” with your peeps… I particularly enjoy Pinot Noir because it’s light to medium bodied, so that will help me maintain my sexy & not look like a fool after 3 glasses. 🙂

Pinot Noir typically has a fruity flavor w/ a hint cherries and/or raspberries… One other tidbit that I learned while in Paris, Pinot Noir is a key ingredient used to make Champagne in France (along with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier). Check out my suggestions…… Enjoy!

This is a fruity wine from Willamette Valley in Oregon. Next 2 Sonoma Valley…. Willamette Valley is one of the best producers of Pinot Noir in the US. This vino has an earthy, but fruity taste 2 it.

Te Kairanga Pinot Noir 2004

This vino is from New Zealand…. It’s a relatively well balanced wine that will pair well with lamb or duck meat.

WH Smith Wines Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2005

I dig this wine because it has a refreshing aftertaste. It has a hint of cranberries, cherries, and raspberries. Definitely a good look.. 🙂

Red Agua…. YG Crunk Juice

As the summer approaches and we transition from “Spring Magic”, it’s time 4 me 2 explore a new beverage of choice. I tried this new combo (4 me at least) & have dubbed it Red Agua. When you’re ready to “touch the town” & get the party started this beverage of choice… PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY!!!!

Champagne Label Lingo

Now that you have a better idea (Champion Style) of the different varieties of crushed graped which are available; it’s time to broaden your knowledge. 🙂 I came across another video that will explain to U the lingo associated with drinking crushed grapes. I’m sure that you’ve always wondered…. “what’s the difference btn a Rose and Blanc de Blanc”…..? Well this video will break it down for you. 🙂

While living in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland (wine country), I became acquainted with these terms very well and it really enhances your wine drinking experience when U actually know what U R drinking.

This info will help U select a sparkling wine that truly suits your palate. I’ve included some pics from one my many visits to the vineyards near my crib in Switzerland. Enjoy the Pics and Video!
