I had an opportunity to chat with Ai Weiwei @ the Rubell Collection and he is a really deep dude. We were discussing his feelings on Kara Walker’s work in exhibition… 30 Americans ( a must see if u visit Miami). He shared a lot of gems with me that will definitely influence how I approach my photography. -!YG

YG is Best in Show
Shout out to everyone who came 2 support last friday night in BK. I was greeted with a wonderful surprise when I got 2 Stripeman Gallery (www.stripemangallery.com) for the opening of my latest group show “Kings and Queens”….. The curator informed me that my piece “Self-Anointed” was awarded BEST IN SHOW. Not 2 bad for my third professional exhibition. I’m just gonna keep the party going like “Jesus Christ”. My next show should be on October 24th in Harlem. I will keep u posted.. -!YG
