Jeffrey Deitch gives us a tour of his new LA crib & a bit of insight into why he decided to take the gig @ MOCA to be the new director of the museum.
I’ve always admired Mr. Deitch’s point of view on art. He clearly sees the shift that art has created within popular culture. Depending on who you talk to w/in the art world, you will get varying opinions about his approach. I for 1 am excited about the retrospective on the late Dennis Hopper & the exhibition on graffiti and street art that he is organizing. It will be fun to watch the cultural landscape w/in the art world continue to evolve. -!YG
