Are Designer Collaborations Dead?
It’s a strategy that has become more & more apart of the fashion world. Companies looking 4 ways 2 extend their brand by attaching themselves 2 another one. It’s the state of the current business environment where execs are constantly devising plans that will “reinvent the wheel”. As a marketing guy, I always find these collaborations intriguing. Conversely, as a consumer whether Madonna or Mick Jaggar develops or endorses a particular product…. if its not hot… I ain’t buying it.
