YG’s FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MARKETS……
The Holidays are upon us and a great place to go shopping or spend time with family/friends are Christmas markets. I have visited many Christmas markets in my travels and always have a blast. Here are a few that you might want to visit during the holiday season.
Union Square’s Christmas market is a great place to buy trinkets. I have also found this to be a wonderful date spot.. 😉 You can wander aimlessly for hours and truly get into the holiday spirit.
Geneva is a very comsompolitian city with lots of attractions and fun. Their Christmas market is a great place to take the family. Enjoy a cup of “hot” wine and fondue while strolling through this ancient Swiss city.
Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin is a wonderful. I actually spent some time here last Christmas while I was in Germany. Entrance into this market is 1 or 2 euro, but it is while worth it. Hanging out this market will give u a good sense of what the holidays in German is like. There are games and food to make you feel like a big kid.
Christmas in Prague is an extrordinary affair Unlike other markets in the EU, Prague’s markets host to conccerts, theater and funny enough a petting zoo. Prague is one of my favorite cities in Europe to visit. You will have nothing but great memeories.
Happy Christmas shopping….
