Takafumi Horie- Japanese tycoon guilty of fraud
I was a little disappointed with the outcome of this case, but I’m sureTakafuni will beat his conviction after appealing the verdict. Though Takafumi was not a Saint, he did seem to represent the “New Face” of Japan. He was a cat not satisfied with just being a “salary-man” all his life. I parallel this school of thought with the paradigm shift the many young American & European entrepreneurs have created with their moxie and calculated business risk. I’m sure this case will inspire the younger generation of Japanese entrepreneurs 2 learn from Takafumi’s mistakes and take their destiny into their own hands.
