YG kicks it w/ Dee & Ricky
Shout 2 Dutch 4 the photo (check out the shoes.. 😉 )! Just got back from the Ricky Powell exhibition @ Milk Gallery. Definitely was a great time had by all… I even ran into Zoe & well we didn’t have a drink, but I did have a drink in my hand while we chatted. 🙂
Lots of cool people were in the spot ushering in the beginning 2 the Summer. These young brothers in particular were a joy 2 talk 2. Dee & Ricky are on their grustle & it is inspirational 2 watch. Marc Jacobs is their 1# fan & even included their accessories in his latest runway show. There are rumors that Dee & Ricky will design a toy line exclusively for Marc Jacobs…. we’ll see. All I know is that these kids got swag & will be coming with the heat rocks, so get familiar.
It was just great 2 be in the presence of so many creative folks expressing themselves & having fun. All 2 often, especially in NYC, we get 2 caught up in the scene & forget 2 just have fun. When I got home I had the battery in my back 2 take a good chunk of these ideas in my head & bring them 2 light. Ther is so much creativity that can be generated from just enjoying life & being thankful for ur blessings.. 🙂 Congrads 2 Barack…. More later… -!YG
