BoltBus for $1

Last weekend while in Philly we came up a discovery that will make my whole Spring/Summer. It seems that GreyHound was tired of the Chinatown Bus eating into their marketshare. Cognisant of their horrible rep in the Northeast they did what any smart business would do… SPIN OFF! Enter in BOLTBUS, which is a new service under the GreyHound umbrella.

Why should we care….? Well with the usage of rev. management a la EasyJet, if you book your tkt far enough in advance it could be as low as $1. Yes $1…… That is only for the NY-Philly route 2 my knowledge, but damn. The prices are comparable if not cheaper then what u would pay on the Chinatown bus. I smell price WAR. 🙂 What else… the buses have plug-ins, bathrooms that work & wi-fi. Wi-fi on the bus….. 🙂

Now I have not use the service, but I intend 2 give BOLTBUS a whirl over the next few weeks. They currently travel 2 Boston, Philly & DC. CLICK HERE -!YG
