YG the Educator
It has been 7 years (taught in China) since I’ve had 2 make a presentation in front of a group of kids. On Sunday Stan Lumax (click 2 see his work) & I gave a intimate walk thru of the Sankofa Series for a group of 4th grade photography students. It was definitely an engaging experience and the kids asked some awesome questions. It is very rewarding to know that our work has touched so many lives. These young students have inspired me 2 take my grustle 2 the next level. What was crazy is that I mentioned Biggie 2 the kids & got a blank stare…lol! I guess I’m getting old.. 🙁
Hopefully Stan & I will have more opportunities 2 present to students (from 4th grade to college.. we do it all 🙂 ) in the future… If you have any suggestions feel free 2 give me a shout.
