I'm hard at work cooking up a couple of curatorial projects and that requires me to look at a lot of art. A huge part of that process includes doing studio visits with artists. I figured it would be fun to share that process with ya'll. Every week or so I'll share with ya'll an artist that I've done a studio visit with. Let me know what you think, especially if you see an artist whose work you really dig.

Over the weekend, I had an opportunity to do a studio visit with visual artist, Heeseop Yoon. Heeseop will be featured the summer exhibition that I'm co-curating with Dexter Wimberly at Mixed Greens. Heeseop's work deals with memory and perception within cluttered spaces. She employs a variety of mediums to investigate these ideas from drawings to full scale installations.
