SUMMARY
Emma thinks that Dread, the neighborhood drug dealer, has God inside of him. She wants to feel God and believes she will once she has sex with Dread. Before sleeping with him, Emma talks with her mother about the men her mother was in love with and making the choice between devotion to a man or God. Â
G.E.M.S. has been growing! Selected pieces performed at the Classic Theater of Harlem's Playwright's Playground Series and a full reading at the undergroundzero Festival this summer the #CollectYourGEMS movement is underway! After productions at universities and theaters throughout the east coast, join me for one night on OFF-BROADWAYÂ to get your G.E.M.S.Â
