AMANI OLU NAMED MANAGING EDITOR OF  WHITEWALL

 

Longtime Nomadic Curator Finds Home in Publishing  

 

 

NEW YORK (October 11, 2012) –  Whitewall is pleased to announce the appointment of Amani Olu as its new Managing Editor. Olu, who comes with a wealth of experience as an arts executive, independent curator, and writer, joins the team to head the revitalization of the publication’s digital component, Whitewallmag.com. Olu will expand its coverage of contemporary art, lifestyle, fashion, and design.

“I am excited to start a new challenge with Whitewall and look forward to working with the Whitewall team to further develop their website,” said Olu. “I am fortunate to join such a respected publication that prides itself on thoroughly establishing the relationship between contemporary art and luxury lifestyle.”

Whitewallmag.com, which is currently undergoing a redesign, will launch in beta form in mid-November with exclusive, pre coverage of Art Basel Miami Beach 2012. The full website will launch next March during the Armory Show 2013.
