Hunter MFA Auction Acquistions
Hunter held their open studios yesterday and I kind of went a little h.a.m. by copping 2 pieces. The first is by a graduating MFA student, Reid Strelow entitled "Go West Young Man". It is a wood cut print 26 x 40 and didn't realize how big or heavy the piece was. Reid actually built the frame for the piece, so I got 2 works of art for the price of 1.Â
The second piece is by a younger MFA student Coco Lopez and the piece is entitled "Galaxy (Foamposite)". This image is an 8×10 photo. I visited Coco's studio and I was really excited to see what she had cooking. I'm looking forward to following her and Reid as they grow in their artistic practice.Â
