During Art Basel last week, I got a chance to briefly chat with David Adjaye and I walked always from our conversation not only energized, but totally inspired. Beyond being a follow Ghanaian, Adjaye is quickly redefining the landscape of what is possible in the architectural and design space. On top of that to be named Designer of the Year, provides me with an added layer of motivation to strive for excellence in all my future endeavors. Here are some photos from the opening for Erwin Wurm’s exhibition ‘Beauty Business’ at the Bass Museum in Miami Beach during Art Basel Miami last week. Definitely a cool exhibition worth checking out if you are in South Beach during the holiday. Erwin definitely has created his own distinctive artistic vocabulary which was a treat to watch unfold as you moved through the exhibition.
