Workspace 2011-2012:
Open Call for Applications Studio Residency Program for Emerging Visual Artists and Writers

Workspace is a 9-month studio residency program focused on the creative process and professional development for emerging visual artists and writers. Through the program's offerings, which include studio space, studio visits, talks and seminars, access to a network of peers, and public programs, Workspaceencourages creative production, professional development, and community building in the early stages of an artist's career.

Information Sessions (Suggested, Not Required):

Attend an Info Session at which LMCC staff reviews the Application Guidelines and answers questions about the residency and the selection process.

Visit the Workspace Studios – Works-in-Progress: Open Studios

Get a behind-the-scenes look at artists' studios!Workspace, LMCC's studio residency program is opening its doors for the first time this year. Meet 18 emerging visual artists and 6 writers in their studio spaces and see the work they have been making since September. Residents are working in all media and genres in unique spaces generously donated by Downtown real estate owners. Come see how LMCC is changing what it means to work Downtown.

Works-in-Progress: Open Studios is presented in association with Armory Arts Week.
