Henri Matisse Nude Bronze Sells for $48.8 Million at Christie’s New York Auction
Those of you who follow me on twitter (@youngglobal) know that I went to a preview for the Christie’s NY Impressionist Fall sale last week. This piece by Henri Matisse was one of my favorite out of the lot & it sold last night for $48.8 million, it was estimated to sell btn $25-35 million (What recession?). 😉 Check out more flicks from my trip to Christie’s here.
