Guggenheim x YouTube Seek Budding Video Artists
It seems anything that has to do with fine art is a hot commodity these days. The Guggenheim x Youtube are throwing their hat into the mix on a quest to find the next Video Art Star. I’m really excited about this contest because it is one step closer to lowering the barrier to entry into an art-world that can be very exclusionary. The initiative entitled: YouTube Play. A Biennial of Creative Video will showcase and hopefully discover the many talented visual artists utilizing video as their medium. Check out the article in the NY Times here .
