We all know that anything African is in vogue, I’m not too crazy about this Yoruba bedding set. Personally it seems like a bit too much, but it is my obligation to share the information. I’m sure a few of ya’ll will run out manana and cop this bedding set. The price range for the Yoruba Bedding set from Anthropologie is $58 to $220 bucks. You can go here for more information. Special shout out to Mel E for putting me on. -!YG

Over the weekend Ghana’s Black Stars defeated Team USA in an epic battle. As I watched the game amongst a group of Team USA fans, a feeling of joy washed over me when Ghana got the W.

Over the weekend Veuve Cliquot held their 3rd Annual Polo Classic on Govenor’s Island. Hosted by Prince Harry of England and Prince Seeiso from Lesotho. The event was organized in order to raise $ for Sentebale, an organization co-founded by Seeiso and Harry as a  proactive response to tackle the plight of Lesotho’s orphans and disenfranchised children.
The star studded event brought out MJB, Russell Simmons and the face of polo Nacho Figueras. Besides drinking tons of Veuve, the event’s highlight was the head to head match featuring Black Watch (Nacho’s Team) vs Black Rock (Prince Harry’s Team). I had a great time kicking it with my peeps and making new friends. J Check out some of the photos from the Veuve Cliquot held their 3rd Annual Polo Classic.

This article reaffirms my assertions and suggest some approaches that might be helpful for those struggling to generate those donor $’s. -!YG (more…)
