Seeking Actors for an Independent Short

We are shooting a short film called “Jackpot” in 2 weekend installments on November 14-15 & November 21-22. We will hold auditions on October 16^th in Manhattan. We are casting the lead roles. We are filming at locations in mid and uptown Manhattan. Role will require some rehearsal.

This is a non-union project, there is no pay, but you will receive a credit in the movie, free meals, a movie to add to your resume and potential festival exposure.

The roles we seek to fill are creatively challenging, and require true acting experience/talent. We are casting the following roles:

DEANDRE (Black or Latin Male: age 20 – 30) – Needs the height and build to convincingly portray an NBA athlete. Has a young urban swagger.

GRANT (Black or Latin Male: age 25 – 40) – A suave/handsome international businessman type.

SHONTAE (Black or Latin Female: age 20 – 30) – A voluptuous/attractive ball player’s girlfriend type. She’s slightly hood, but smart and determined to live the good life.

The script is in the horror/thriller genre. This project will be directed by Tony Ducret, director of the 2008 Horror Feature “Hospitality” www.hospitalitythemovie.com
