I still don’t know what to make of Loon’s conversion to Islam. He’s not quite Cat Stevens and well… Pastor Mase didn’t set a high benchmark either. I hope that Loon’s commitment to Islam is genuine because he has an opportunity to be a true voice in the Islamic world. What do my brothers and sisters of the Islamic faith think? -!YG
This looks like its going to be an amazing documentary. Soul Power chronicles the 3 days festival dubbed Zaire ’74. The festival was organized to create excitement for the “Rumble in the Jungle” btn Ali and Foreman. Zaire ’74 was also an opportunity for cultural exchange between African and African American artists who took part in the festival. The film will be in theaters July 10th and be clear that I will be checking it out this weekend. -!YG
