Sippin’ On Crushed Grapes…..
Yesterday a gal pal & I went out for a belated bday dinner @ The Standard Grill. Many of you know that I visit the Standard @ least once a wk, but this was the first time that I actually ate there. The Standard Grill has been open for about 2-3 wks just in time for the summer. We had oysters, octopus and good ‘ole fries. We kept the meal simple and really just enjoyed the vibe of the spot.
One of the highlights of the evening was chatting with the couple next to us – Ed & Christine. They have been married for 40 yrs and still act like 2 teenagers. Ed (who happens to be a photographer) had me cracking up all evening. 🙂 Right now the Standard Grill are open for preview dinner, so check it out when u have a chance. Make sure that u get a table outside if u can. -!YG
