New TWITTER Applications
Another day… another Twitter application to try out. I came across 3 really interesting apps that actually might be useful for those of ya’ll addicted to Twitter. As for me.. I’ve slowed down my usage a bit (I’m on that Google Wave), but many of ya’ll are going hard in the Twitterverse and need tools to make your experience more efficient.
Twitscoop is the first application that really struck a cord with me. For those who use Twitter on their computer this will be a great tool. Twitscoop updates tweets in real time! No more having to refresh the page to see what @iamdiddy is saying. Twitscoop also allows you to track current trends and the “goings ons” in the Twittersphere in real time by monitoring keywords. Twitscoop will be a great tool for marketers and folks using twitter to build brands/businesses.
Tweetmeme is another application that updates in “almost” real time. Tweetmeme actually updates tweets every 5 mins, which isn’t that bad. Tweetmeme allows you to browse the most popular tweets by categories. The best part of this application is that you can look at the most popular images on Twitter @ the moment……
This is the best application that I’ve seen for twitter so far…. TwitDoc allows you to share documents, pdf, etc with just a few clicks. All you have to do is enter in your username, password, upload your file and viola. Sick! Whatever you use Twitter for… I’m sure there is an application out there to enhance your experience.. 😉 -!YG
