YG’s Entrepreneur of the Week: David Adjaye
Congrads to David Adjaye for winning the bid (more info) to construct the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture. Project by project David continues to define his legacy in an quest to be amongst the great “Master Builders” of the 21st Century (i.e. I.M. Pei & Frank Gehry).
I first became familiar with David’s work back in 2007 after attending the opening of exhibition he had @ the Studio Museum of Harlem (more info). Not only was his work simply amazing, as a fellow Ghanaian, David is a true reflection of the heights that can be reach with unwavering commitment and 100% focus on taking your craft to the next level. -!YG
