Fela! A New Musical
I went to see this show last night…. WOW! I was totally blown away… The music, set, and cast were all exceptional…. Just plain dope. Fela! is not your typical Broadway musical, but I’m sure Fela would have wanted it that way. As an African, it was truly moving to see Fela’s story come to life.
I could barely contain myself in the front row. The music and dancing had me ready to bust a move down the isle. 🙂 I could go on and on about how great the show was, but nothing I write will do this musical justice. All I will say is… don’t be surprise if you see me at the theater again. You gotta see this show for yourself! Shout to Jay & Bey who were in the house. I have a feeling he will be throwing some cash behind this show & take it to Broadway.-!YG
