YG kick it w/ Rei Sato.. (The Next Murakami)
Yesterday me & some of the members of the YCC got a chance 2 kick it with Rei Sato. Rei @ 24 is the next big thing 2 come out of the KaiKai & KiKi camp. For those who don’t know that is Takashi Murakami’s company….. He discover Rei when she was 18 and she has been under his tutelage ever since.
Rei is definitely an artist on the come up & I look forward 2 following her progress as an artist. I walked away from her exhibit inspired & ready 2 get on my grustle. Her work is on display at Lehmann Maupin (click 4 info) until August 8th. Check it out.. 🙂 The pics below tell the whole story. -!YG
