The Culture Code: An Ingenious Way to Understand why People around the World Live and Buy as They Do
Shout out 2 OG Stan 4 putting me on 2 this book. The impact of culture with regards 2 doing business in emerging markets was a big part of my thesis paper. I firmly believe that lack of cultural understanding is a key reason y some businesses are not able to flourish in foreign markets.
This book reaffirms my assertion, but takes my thoughts one step further. Mr. Rapaille sparks an interesting discussion with regards 2 cultural understanding from an American perspective. Some of his points I agree with & others I think are BS, but at the end of the day the conversation is very insightful. He does a good job of decoding various cultures down to their root.
