Schwarzman Comes 2 The Bronx
This is beautiful right here… Schwarzman the billion dollar co-founder of the Blackstone Group made a little trip 2 the BX. Now U say Y does it matter…. he’s just looking for good press. Granted! But this story is a little closer 2 home for me because the school he visited was Sacred Heart School, my primary & middle school. Sacred Heart is/was in danger of being closed by the Archdiocese of NYC.
Schwarzman donated 5 million dollars 2 which hopefully some will go 2 keeping the school open via the Inner-City Scholarship Fund. It makes me happy 2 see that more kids from the inner-city will have an opportunity to get a quality education.
