The Last Mansion in the Bronx
This house is actually one block up the street from me…. I used 2 hoop in the schoolyard across the street. It used 2 be owned by a cat whom all the kids in the hood thought was the boogieman, but was actually a nice guy. What’s interesting is a lot of people in the community did what they could 2 keep it looking up 2 snuff. My friend’s uncle used 2 sweep the front of the house for Mr. Evers everyday.
The couple who copped this home spent less then 1 million (that’s a come up). We will see how they deal with the street entrepreneurship across the street from their home. I’m sure everyone will be able 2 c0-exist. Regardless of the street activity in my hood we always look out 4 each other. One thing I will have to accept is that my hood might be the next 2 flip on the gentrification scale…. -!YG
