HOPE CENTER OPENS IN HARLEM
I spent most of this morning down in Harlem with my mentor John “Hope” Bryant. He is in town from LA opening up the first Hope Center in NYC. The Hope Center is one of many initiatives that his organization Operation Hope has under their umbrella… Besides the presence of “big money” in the room, it was great 2 be around folks who are making things happen. It really made me question myself.. Am I doing enough? 2 be honest I don’t think I am. So I’ve challenged myself 2 take things 2 the next level.
One thing that I’ve realized after 2 day is that your “circle of influence” does play a role in your success, but @ the end of the day it’s about U making the right (sometimes tough) choices with the blessings & opportunities that U r given… Kudos 2 John Bryant for keeping me motivated 2 step my game up & challenging me not only 2 be a better man…. but a better HUMAN BEING…. -!YG
