A YG Summer: BoBo I C U…..
U gotta excuse moi, I’m still a bit tired from yesterday’s fete. I will definitely have 2 pace myself this Summer… 🙂 Last night I “touched the town” hard 4 the first time in a few months. I hit up the Marc Baptiste show @ The Milk Gallery. SoHo Grand & kicked it in the Meat Packing District with my peeps. It was truly one of those evenings that makes you fall in love with NYC.
Last night officially marked the beginning of YG’s Summer. After seeing my dude pull up in the black on black…rag top 6 series, it was a clear indication that this Summer is going 2 be a problem. As I posted up in front of Pop Burger on the Ave., U could feel there was a good energy in the air. Shout out 2 Ant Lava who is coming out with the “Life After Death” DVD (Click 2 See Trailer), that young man is getting his Hollyweird, California on & I’m proud of him. 🙂
The great thing about “touching the town” is getting the opportunity 2 build with friends old & new. Sometimes living in the city can make u a bit jaded with folks, but @ the end of the day I realize that we are all on our GRUSTLE. My guy Jose, who is in the Telly Biz back in the EU, really hipped me 2 some game & re-emphasized 2 me the importance of “Getting Out Your Dreams”.
4 “Ladies Love” the highlight of any evening when I “touch the town” has 2 be the beautiful females of NYC. I made a couple of new gal pals & who knows the kid might finally find a wifey… (Shout out 2 JH for getting his grown man on) We’ll see how the “pre-game” preparations 4 Rio in ’08 develop….. This year marks 10yrs since my first club experience. I will do my best 2 keep it light this Summer, but I have a feeling it might get a bit stuntious. Check out some flicks from Marc’s show.
