YG Dating Tips… Part Deux

I hope that you enjoyed Part One…. here are some more recommendations that will help you enjoy “Spring Magic“. 🙂

6. The Farmer’s Market or Street Fair – In most major cities, you can find a farmer’s market or street fair at certain times of the year. These kinds of events provide a plethora of visual stimuli and entertainment. You will likely find live music, great deals, excellent people-watching, and plenty of opportunities for conversation. Again, the key is cultivating those intimate moments in unique environments.

7. The Bookstore – You would be surprise how much fun chillin‘ in a bookstore could be. Bookstores create an opportunity to find out what your date likes 2 read. If he/she doesn’t read….hmmmmm? Most bookstores have a great magazine section too… lol! I also like to make mental notes while in the bookstore, especially if he/she mentions a book they really want. How fly would you look if you showed up with that book as a gift off GP? 😉

8. The Winery –Nothing says “YG” like a trip 2 a winery . For those living far from wine country.. Another option is your local wine shop , which should have weekly or monthly wine tastings. The alcohol acts as a social lubricant and has always been a catalyst for wonderful conversation. If you are a wine buff like moi it gives u an opportunity to “put your date in the pocket”… Now don’t over do it because u don’t want to look like a fool. There is a difference btn showcasing your wine knowledge and having a “Kanye” moment. The latter is usually a turn off!

9. The Connected Restaurant –One benefit of my MBA in Hospitality are the relationships that I have developed in the sector. If you’re fortunate enough to have a connection at a nice restaurant, take advantage of it. You’ll provide your date with a stellar meal, especially if your are given items not on the menu. If you don’t have a connection at a fine dining establishment, get to work!

10. Home Cooking – You can be as creative as U like when U are chefin‘ it up at home. Cooking together provides a very intimate environment where u can truly have a delightful time. It doesn’t matter where you live or what day of the week it is. 3 simple courses and some good wine will do the trick, and if your date enjoys the meal, who knows where dessert will lead? 😉 …….

11. Dessert Restaurant- This is a new one that I have added to the repertoire. Living in Switzerland I learned 2 appreciate a yummy souffle. I love the simplicity of a delightful dessert wined paired with a “orgasmic” dessert. If you only knew how a dollop of flourless chocolate cake can change the course of la noche. 😉 Church 2 that 1!
