Jay-Z Sells Rocawear For $204 Million
When I first read this article I thought WTF! After reading btn the lines things became a bit more clear.This is a very savvy business move by Mr. Carter. I’m curious to see how this partnership pans out. There are 2 features to this deal that I found to be interesting. One, Iconix will develop and distribute the Shaw Carter Collection. Two,Iconix will also enter into a separate joint venture with Mr. Carter, to establish a new brand management and licensing company to identify brands to be acquired or developed. If U didn’t know licensing is BIG bucks! All about that $!
