My Mentor John “Hope” Bryant will be featured on CNN tonight. It should be a very interesting program. John has been an instrumental catalyst and supportive role model of endeavors towards social entrepreneurship. While in grad school, it was John’s support and “tough love” that propelled me towards success when I doubted myself. John is one of the few men that I know who TRULY walks the walks. Timbo really put his “styled on Scott Storch” with this record. I don’t think there is anyway Scott Storch can top this. It should be interesting to see how this “beef” escalates. I’m just trying to figure out if Timbo or Danja Hands did the beat for this song….. It bring up up the question in my mind: What is the role of a Music Producer? Make Beats? Buy Beats? Jack Beats? Or say “take that… take that” on the record? U tell me. 🙂 Anyway U slice it the record is DOPE! I love how Timbo “took” the Smack DVD model & poppafied it….. This weekend I was kicking it at my local hookah bar with my peeps “getting my mind right“. We were all laughing and enjoying the music when one record “dropped” which caught my ears. The record was “Say it Right” by Nelly Furtardo!

I’ve been a fan of this young lady’s music since day one & to see her evolution as an artist has been quite a treat. Now there is much debate regarding who should be credited with Nelly’s (and Justin’s) recent success Timbo (Listen to the Scott Storch Diss Record) or Nate “Danja Hands” Hills. If you look at the credits for these albums its pretty evident, but only time will tell who has the “magic touch” as Danja Hands does more solo production.

I would love 2 see Danja work with Madonna, Cher, and Janet Jackson (she needs him). Until that time here is a video of Nelly Furtardo performing her hit single in Germany.
