My Global Hustle

CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HIT MAN

This book was a true revelation to my life. After finishing this book, I felt like a newborn baby seeing the world for the first time. Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” is the memoirs of John Perkins who regals the reader in his life as an Economic Hit Man for the “feddy gov”. Mr Perkins globe trotted around the world—to Indonesia, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran with the goal implementing policies that promoted the interests of the U.S. Corporatocracy (a coalition of government, banks, and corporations). What makes this story even more interesting is that it was all done under the guise of an attempt to alleviate poverty in many of these countries.

My subsequent conversations with others who have read this book felt like joining an “elite club” of individuals who have a keen interest in geo-politics. Now I have a list of more books to read….lol

As a self-professed history buff, it’s always exciting to connect the dots and truly understand the current events that make front page news. READ this book! You will walk away enlightened and entertained. Like Hugo Chavez said “stop watching batman and superman…READ”! U can get it from the library….its FREE.. 😉
