Holiday Movies
Here are a couple of flicks that I thought you might want to check out over the holidays.
Curse of the Goldern Flower
This film was directed by Zhang Yimou of Hero and House of Flying Dagger fame. The film is set during the Tang Dynasty in Forbidden City of Peking. (my favorite tourist spot in China) Yimou never fails to leave the viewer entertained with his masterful use of color and breath taking Cinematography. The film stars Chow Yun Fat (Crouching Tiger) who is one of the top actors coming out of the People’s Republic. Check out the trailer.

Children of Men
This films features 2 of my favorite character actors Clive Owen and Chiwetel Ejiofor. These 2 thespians make the film totally worth seeing & the twist will further entice U. I watched this filmed today and was VERY impressed![youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NikEQy1XxDE]
The Fountain
This film stars Hugh Jackman (Baby Mel Gibson) and looks to be an interesting story. I couple of my peeps saw this film and were all blown away by the special effects. Check out the trailer. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IP_Rjx4wVY]

This is an interesting article on what went on behind the scenes and all the drama Darren Aronofsky had making “The Fountain,” especially after the original star of the move, Brad Pitt, dropped out.
