The Golden Era of Hip Hop
POW!…… I have been spending most of my weekend digesting this new NAS album. I have to say that I am truly impressed so far. Listening to this album definitely conjures up memories of “The Golden Era of Hip Hop†(’93-’99 at least for my generation).
So as a tribute, I did a youtube search for videos from some of my favorite MC’s of all time. I did not include BIG and PAC because those 2 are a given. I decided to go with other MC’s whose lyrics I will quote for an eternity. NAS has ushered in a new era of Hip Hop with this latest album……. He has raised the bar and pushed the enveloped sonically and creatively. (Hov take NOTES)…. Be on the look at for my blog on the new NAS album… Can we say 6 MIC Album?
